Can anyone read Apple IIc disks??? Help please.
My neighbour is an author that wrote a book on a IIc. He is about to rekey the whole book into a new computer but I suggested that someone out there must have the ability to recover the information off his old disks.

Can anyone help??

I'm in Winnipeg.

I wish you luck! Finding the hardware is not so difficult. It is the disks. Floppies are notoriously unreliable in the longer term.

Try the local public schools. I donated my Apple IIgs to them and there was an Apple IIe and a IIc at the school for the K-2 grades. Just a thought.
