Im just wondering what people spend on Gas per month I have been looking at my bills and $300 + on gas seems to be the next bill I should cut back on now that I have changed my fast food eating habits.

My Vespa GTS 250 gets great mileage,
The average cost to go 50 km per day for my commute is about $10. week.

Currently over $500. Filling the motor home alone, when it is down to one quarter on the gauge, is $275 when fuel prices are around .90 cents/litre and I have done that as many as ten times a month last May. Once the rig is put away for the winter, it will drop to $200 a month for our 2001 Suzuki Grand Vitara Limited 4 x 4 and our 1996 Pontiac Sunfire combined.

I'm retired so don't do a lot of driving, however, driving an 05 smart (diesel) helps keep the fuel bill low.

Varies a bit, but I fill up around twice a month, $40/fill. Sometimes it's a bit more, so $100/month seems about right.

2008 Nissan Versa hatchback.

My GF drives a 98 Escort. It takes maybe $20 a week on normal driving from Burlington to Milton. I try and take the GO train home a few times a week. So that also helps. Another thing, the drive to Milton from Burlington has next to no traffic, so there's no sitting at idle crawling along the roads.

Between the company car (brand-new Camry Hybrid) and our 2004 Suzuki Aerio we're probably doing $150-200 a month. We tend not to have long commutes and do a lot of short trips. Once the work season wraps and we're down to the Suzuki we'll go down a little but not a huge amount; the Camry's got fabulous city mileage and so it really saves me from going to tank up. The Suzuki's a very reliable car but its mileage stats are only average and comparing it to hybrids reveal its weaknesses. We're hoping it's the last gas-powered car we'll ever need to buy... but we'll see what shakes out over the next few years. Daily peeks at AutoblogGreen keeps me perky about all the new flavours of transmission/power/efficiency slated to come.

1994 Dodge Colt about $20 a month. I'm retired so the driving is to the mall and relieving boredom
