I live in Windsor and it's a great city! That area is also nice - right next to the Ganatchio trail, where there are kilometers of bike / jogging / walking paths.
Riverside Drive is the crown jewel of the city with endless green space and a breathtaking - and safe
- view of the Detroit skyline.
Big city amenities are just across the river in Detroit - all 4 major Sports teams, concerts, arts, shopping (including 3 or 4 Apple Stores), etc. and then you can come back and rest comfortably in your quiet neighbourhood. Add to that one of the most temperate climates in Canada and one of the most giving communities to charity per capita and I'd say the only regret you'd have about moving to Windsor is that you didn't do it years ago!
