Need help from a programmer!

just a reminder, i am a designer, not a programmer.

in the last year I have most definitely learned ASP, XHTML and CSS, and hope to learn PHP in developing my website.

What I need is a script that will save data from a form to an SQL database. So I tried looking for tutorials and samples to learn from, but I'm finding it hard to find information, or maybe I am looking in the wrong places.

I've never dealt with databases before so I am clueless. Finding scripts of all sorts is easy, but understanding how it works and how to use, will take time, which I don't really have.

Anyone know of a web app that does this that I can buy? or any programmers here willing to help me or create this? or is there a script out there for free?

btw, I need one using ASP, the server is an SQL 2005

thanks

I wish I could easily write one up for you, but I work in a different language and a difference SQL database. If there's specifics about what's going on in a piece of code that you would like help sorting out, I may be able to give you some input.

It will be more difficult to find an ASP/SQL solution than it will be to find a PHP/MySQL solution. Does it have to be ASP?

Don't get into ASP.net I am warning you. Stick with PHP and MySQL. I can probably come up with some code for that maybe throw in some JavaScript and AJAX to make it cool.

If it were PHP/MySQL I'd be able to help you, however, I don't know ASP or SQL Server.

SourceForge.net: Files

I guess I should start looking for an ASP form generator, like this one, but I might be able to use this for my site

but it is hard to find things on ASP, here's hoping to some luck in finding one!
