for years I have wondered why single use bathrooms have been separated into male and female versions
I always thought this silly and thought it would be much more efficient to have unisex single person bathrooms
(when confronted by an "in use" male bathroom and a "not in use" female bathroom, i had no issues using the female bathroom, altho' i did get the odd look from someone as i was leaving it once in a while
i was in IKEA today looking at some very cool kitchen cabinets and had to go to the bathroom to find that IKEA had 2 single person bathrooms side by side with the male & female indicators on each one
i rubbed my eyes. could it be true? "logic" triumphs over 100 years of "tradition"?
damn, are those IKEA people are just smart or are the rest are so stupid?
looks like i found myself some very cool looking kitchen cabinets and with the help of an IKEA kitchen person was able to design something that worked for me
i'm still waiting for home depot to call me for the mandatory paid measurement of my kitchen before they will consider making an appt. to design a kitchen
Usually, the male bathroom is much much dirtier than the female version.
hence your screen name...
large outfits like IKEA clean their bathrooms on a very regular basis
still, in today's day and age it's almost sexist to have separate male and female bathrooms that only allow on person at a time
Usually, the male bathroom is much much dirtier than the female version.
I would agree that A LOT of the time men's bathrooms are grose. A lot of men stand up more so than sitting down and all men knows the fun of standing up. So in turn woman won't touch a mens bathroom even if thier bladder is bursting they will wait for the female bathroom.
reputable places clean thier bathrooms on a regular schedule but there is a reason why....mens bathrooms are grose

On the contrary, when I was younger, I used to work in night clubs, at the end of the night, I would have to go into the washrooms to recover any glasses and bottles that got sneaked into the facilities. The only part that's true about men's room being dirtier, is that you would never do a number 2 in public toilets. That and the sink was sometimes clogged with paper towels. The ladies room was a whole other story, definitely worst off then the men's room. Women in public washrooms are slobs, garbage everywhere, flooding, it's just to much to discuss.
