Lost Dog - Ossington & Bloor area

My boss had some friends looking after his dog. She got spooked, pulled her collar off and ran away. She's been wandering the streets for the last day and a half.

Sightings have been reported between Ossington and Shaw from Bloor street up to the train tracks just north of Dupont.

She is a tiny little Sheltie (Miniture Collie). Her name is Holly and is VERY skittish. She likely will not come to you but if anyone sees her, please let me know. I will be going to look for her when I'm done work.

Any help is greatly appreciated!

Hey...when I lived in that neck of the woods, my dog got away one afternoon.

He was picked up by Animal Control--but they didn't take him where I had expected. He ended up at their facility in Etobicoke, on West Mall.

If your Boss hasn't tried to call them, that might be a good idea.

Hope the pup is found safe and sound!

Ya, Animal Control and the humane society have been called. Someone saw her this morning at Ossington and Bloor.

Greatly appreciated. There have been no sightings since 8:30 this morning.

My wife and friend went down today to walk the streets and help look but they said it is a maze of alley's and finding her is going to be extremely hard. The lady that was looking after her said that she is really scared and any time they have been able to get semi close to her, she is growling and snarling at them. Good thing she is only about 15 lbs!

No not yet. I jusy got home from looking and I don't think it's going to be easy to find her. There are so many possible hiding spots for her. She is so skittish that she won't come out if she is hiding.

The only hope is if she is under a porch somewhere and a dog catcher can get her.

Fingers are still crossed.
