Remember the baseball dispute when they ended the season early? They still haven't fully recovered... I suspect it will be the same for hockey.

i never watched hockey before, but i think it would affect the poll if i chose option four as it implies you have a grudge from what happened, and i don't.

do you think?

I would watch it more. I'm aching to see some hockey. Plus I've been spending too much money and eating too much popcorn going to the movie theatres on saturday night.

It's that time of winter where there is nothing on tv...there's nothing else to do...and the weather is crappy (well it will be crappy again in march)

And poor stanley...he can't stay in the closet all year

Bring back hockey!

I was talking to my dad on the phone this eve. He has been a die-hard Leaf fan all his life, and talks about the last year the Leafs won the cup like it was yesterday. He was worried that a deal would be struck and there would be a shortened season and that the Leafs would go on and win the cup this year. He said he wouldn't be able to handle it if the Leafs won the cup in a shortened season because people would say it didn't really count, and that an asterisk would go down beside the 2005 cup winner (* won the cup but not really).

Will watch it the same, which is not often in the regular season and quite a bit during the playoffs.

I'm with Gordguide. I only ever watched the playoffs..and even THAT was only when one of the more interesting teams was playing (Flames, Avalanche or Canucks).

No NHL this year? Oh really...I hadn't even noticed.

YAAAWWWNNN...

I'm watching a lot more Lacrosse now and quite enjoying it. And the cost of tickets at the ACC for a Rock game are a fraction of Leaf tickets.
