Hi all. At CBS.com they are previewing the top ten Superbowl ads ever. Apple's 1984 is in there.

One problem, neither IE or Safari have the plugin required to watch them, anyone know a way around?

You need to get Real Player for the video to work.

Get it here:

They missed the Fedex Oz ad which is better than a few listed. I'll see if I can find a link.

How about some of the Bud or Bud Light ads? Those were a riot!!

Also the Willie Nelson H&R Block ad.

Thanks to gowyn for giving me several minutes of great fun reviewing these commercials.

And a special tip of the hat to MaxPower for showing me how to upgrade my Real Player.

Cheers,

On some sites when I attempt to use Real Player for video (e.g. John Edwards campaign web site) I get text that comes up in TextEdit instead of RealPlayer video.

I use what I believe is the latest version of Real Player for OSX.

Any suggestions?

Cheers,

Thanks for the link gowyn.

I had not seen some of them and they are very good.

I downloaded Realplayer and it worked great in Panther.

Cheers
