RIP Richard Briers

Richard Briers dead: The Good Life was the show that made Richard Briers famous, but Ever Decreasing Circles was his finest hour - Andy Dawson - Mirror Online

For those who are saying who? Here is a good place to start.

Social Distancing is an Oxymoron. The correct term is Social Demonization or Social Repression. Bandits, thieves and politically correct thugs hide behind masks.

I remember him from Doctor In Distress, I think.

Felicity Kendal is a sweetheart, that I have seen before.

As is the Penelope Keith, from To The Manor Born.

EDIT: Just watched the other 2 parts.

Why can't we see excellent programming like that?

Because Americans can't make fun of people like Margo Leadbetter??

Too close to home??

Saw that entire series several times thanks to PBS. Unlike M.A.S.H., I would happily view them all again if PBS was to bring it back for an encore performance.

Thank you for the posting. Simply good writing and acting - a winner every time. I can't remember if I started watching the show and it led to my parents subscribing to Harrowsmith magazine or was it the other way around. Mr. Briers acting sure added to a enjoyable time in life.
