It's always sad when we hear of a great talent's death, but still Mr. Brubeck was in his 92nd year, he had a good life by any standard.

RIP and Take Five with a harp.

I'll always remember that laugh at the end of Take Five....pure relief I'm sure. -what an amazing gem.

Brilliant artist but his work will live on. ....some small silver lining and clearly still active and enjoying his genre

... and for some "in the spirit of the season" listening, try "A Dave Brubeck Christmas" (a 1996 Telarc recording) -- Dave does some wonderful solo piano interpretations of many of the Christmas classics. We love it!!
