You might want to clarify the size, 21" or 27"?

Is this 2 drives plus ODD? Mid or late 2011? Specs on the OWC drive?

Yes, it's an OWC Mercury Electra 6G with up-to date firmware.

So it's SSD + HDD + ODD. Optical drive is still there, the SSD is buried under the ODD.

The iMac boots in 8 seconds

Yup, I've done the same thing myself (and to a number of others)... It's a great upgrade!

I priced mine recently (as I am on the fence about selling or taking it on the plane when we move), and with about 9 months of AppleCare remaining I valued it at $1200-1300.

Yeah it's a great machine. I'm just on the fence whether I want to sell my iMac and MacBook Air and get a MBP instead. Really just testing the waters

I'm thinking a fair price is around 1100.

$1100 is a great price for that upgrade.

I had the iMac, 11" Air and 13" Pro. At some point I realized I'd gone over a month without ever using the Pro, sold both portables and got a 13" Air and I'm really happy with that... I do use the iMac, but it's also the family computer my wife uses, so I have a 22" external for the Air at home and a 23" external to use with it when at the office.
