I have a number of apps which have stored data on my iPod Touch (vehicle log, etc). I am expecting my iPad 2 now any day and I'm wondering how to transfer or sync over that data when hooking my iPad 2 to iTunes. Is there an easy way to do this?

Backup the iPod touch and restore from the backup when initially setting up the iPad.

That easy. I wasn't sure when using a second device with iTunes. Perfect. I suppose I'm going to want to look for iPad updates to some of the apps I use most.

Just as Paul82 described above. Simple as that.
