My friend has given me his oldjailbroken and unlocked iPhone3G. They updated the baseband to 6.15... I don't know much about jail breaking but is there a way to reverse the jailbreak or go back to stock mode??

You should be able to do a factory restore in iTunes

Restore but first make sure it's locked to your carrier.

shouldn't be a problem to just to a factory restore to the last firmware for the 3g... I think it's 4.2.1... not really sure about jail-breaking too much myself either...

Google it. There are ways to restore from the iPad baseband update via PwnageTool or Redsn0w, although they are apparently hit and miss last I read.

Restore Stock firmware and use one of the FixRecovery links whether your on Mac or PC.

Run that and the iPhone should come back up, mind you, factory locked.

Its pretty much impossible to downgrade the baseband.
