I've heard that this is a common problem wth the Multiple Scan 15AV Displays. (http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=112539) I have two of them and they both have this problem.

Once in a while the dispay will flicker and all colours will briefly get a green tinge. The problem corrects itself after a few seconds.

It seems to start happening after the monitor has been in use for a while (warm) rather then when first turned on (cold).

One of the monitors was made in October, 1996. The other in February, 1997.

I've heard that the problem is just a solder connection that goes bad in these monitors. If that's true, and someone can tell me what connection it is, I'm very handy with a soldering iron and can fix it myself. I used to build circuit boards on an assembly line and I've been inside monitors before and know the dangers of the CRT high-voltage capacitor.

Does anyone know a fix for the flicker problem of these monitors?

Thanks!
