It seems we're one wedge short of a full pie.

I'll bet most of us have owned at least one version of the game.

Never owned one, never played it.

O-man, I just read this about an hour ago on the CBC website. Sad.

I was able to play one of the first sets that was brought into NL by a producer of our local CBC TV evening news show. He wanted to test it out since they were going to do a piece on this new game. He then accused me of cheating when I totally destroyed him, saying that I must have seen this game before and read all of the questions cards. He could not believe that I knew much of this sort of trivia. I did ............ and I still love playing the game. Great way to keep the old mind sharp as a tack.

He shall be missed. :(

I enjoy this game - especially the classic version.

Sad to see one of the creators of it pass.

That is too bad.

My family and friends have played it for hours and hours. I even entered in a Trivial Pursuit competition at university, out team came in second. The game was a a perfect follow up to someone like me who was a Reach For The Top team member in high school.

I never like the "speciality" packs, but the Genus I and II were a lot of fun.
