Is Telus going to be using SIM cards for their iPhones? If so, can we finally unlock an iPhone on Telus?

Keep in mind that the original iPhone will not work with either Bell or Telus.

Ok, so if I have ben a Telus customer since February this year and have a voice and data plan with my (horrible) BB Pearl, will I have to change my plan to get the iPhone? Or will they let me keep my current plan? Also how would i get a sim card to work with it?

Assuming you signed up for a term contract, Telus would probably also make you pay the non-contract price for an iPhone for a 3 year contract - ie. $800 for 32GB, $700 for 16 GB 3GS.

So, would getting any phone upgrade at this point be expensive? I really dislike the the Pearl.
