: System Replacements?

I was just wondering how many people change their system icons using CandyBar (or manually), and what icons you are using.

Personally, I am using bits and pieces from a couple of different sets.

The CD/DVD icons from Puft System (http://iconfactory.com/preview.asp?type=search&id=214),
The World of Aqua Rev2 Folders (http://iconfactory.com/preview.asp?type=search&id=202),
The clipping and location icons from The Matrix Rebooted (http://iconfactory.com/preview.asp?type=search&id=200),
The disk, network and trash icons from The G5 System (http://iconfactory.com/preview.asp?type=search&id=173)
The Igloo from Xtra Homes (http://iconfactory.com/preview.asp?type=search&id=147) as my home folder,
and the Finder icon from the very first World of Aqua (http://iconfactory.com/preview.asp?type=search&id=125).

If you guys want to check it out, I can whip up an icontainer of my set.

What're the rest of you using?

Canadybar and Shapeshifter for me.

The Shapeshifter theme I use the most is called "Unleaded" (http://www.resexcellence.com/themes/index_36.shtml) -- which looks a lot like Tiger's new Aqua -- LONG before Tiger saw the light of day.

For my hard drive icons, I usually use "Slick Hard Drives" (http://www.marvilla.us/sampleicons.html).

For application icons, I use G-Ball (http://www.interfacelift.com/icons-mac/artists.php?id=138). Take note that the shadows of the balls are of the same colour as each particular ball. Nice piece of detail there! Mix The Pix icons are very nice as well (http://www.mixthepix.com/).

For folders I use the blue varients of "World of Aqua", and I use CanCombineIcons to make custom folder icons with World of Aqua and G-Ball. The "Real Agua" series folders here (http://www.flaxcreations.com/folders.html) are very nice as well. If he made a Candybar system set I'd probably use it.

I also use a really nice graphite/glassy Apple logo from the Apple Applications Graphite collection (http://homepage.mac.com/nilsraab/apple1.html) in place of the boring, flat grey Apple logo at startup. I use Imagine BootX (http://chezjd.free.fr/Creation/logiciel.php?id=1&lang=1) to hack that it.
