These are the two notebooks I am considering buying this June (after WWDC update) I will mostly be doing the regular stuff and playing games such as AOE3 but nothing very graphic intensive. I do like the Mac OS but the graphic Card perks of the M1330 is also a plus. Any thoughts or comments are appreciated.

If you need a graphics card to play games, the MacBook is not an option. Period. Do you need a small laptop? Would the $1549 MBP Refurb on Apple.ca/store be any good for you?

Unless you really really like black, the "high end" MacBook is basically a rip-off. Need the 90GB of extra space, save the two hundred dollars and buy an external hard drive that's 5 times what you lose by going with the mid white MacBook.

My 2.0 ghz c2d w/ 2gb of ram can play aoe3 with graphics options set to low. It rarely crashes, only when you play with like more than 5 players and the game starts to chug. I would get a refurb mbp. I am looking at getting one in August.

I was just checking the mac refurb site and WOW  the low end MBP (which is more than I even want) is only $100 more than a new blackbook. With apple's stringent refurb policy/testing this is a sweet deal. A basically brand new low end MBP $1699 a middle range MBP $2149. These are sweet deals!
I am definitely buying one of these it would be stupid not to do so.

1699 is high for low end my friend. Go on at like 5 or 6 am and you can find some for 1399.

your kidding 1399 (or 1299 i cant remember) is the base price for a mid ranged Macbook! If the quality/resale value is so high why would apple sell them so cheap?

$1399 is the 2.16 C2D model - almost 2 years old now, but still good depending on your usage.

$1699 I dunno, but $1799 is for the new 2.4Ghz Penryn model refurb. The 2.16 and 2.4 Penryn are two very different machines :) (HD/Superdrive/802.11N/Processors/etc...)
