So I restored my old Ipod and it was in the process of updating my songs but I needed to burn a CD and I needed to do that first. I cancelled the song update in the middle of the process and now my Ipod is dead. It says its corrupted and needs restored but when I hit restore it says its busy. Any ideas as to what I could do to fix it?

You may need to reset it:

Do you hear the hard drive clicking when you start up your iPod. I Had one of the click wheel models (last monochrome ipod) which recently died. It was exhibiting the same symptoms. I reset and restored it several times. It may have worked once before getting the corrupt file system message once again.
I noticed at that time the HD was making a clicking sound (the same sound I heard just before my hd in my PC went to that great PC in the sky).
I just figured that the hd had given up the ghost and bought a new iPod. It was a good excuse to get an ipod that could do video.
