Is there a program for the Mac that will allow me to move a DVD into itunes? I want to be able to watch some of my DVD's on my ipod when I travel.

Handbrake will do the job.

HandBrake (http://handbrake.fr/)

MacTheRipper (Freeware) is a great program to rip DVDs.
...straight forward & easy to use

iSquint (Freeware) or VisualHub (not Freeware) will allow you to reformat for iPod video (and many other formats).
...also straight forward & easy to use

All are great programs!

I second both Handbrake and iSquint.

I use Handbrake in general to put dvd's onto my computer (so that I can watch them in fullscreen perfection), and then iSquint to make the files smaller so that they don't take up too much space on my iPod.

I wasn't a big fan of Mac the Ripper though.

One feature Visual Hub has that neither iSquint or Handbrake offer is that you can adjust the audio volume of the converted file. Comes in handy occasionally.
