Smacks of Fear, Uncertainity, and Doubt mongering to me.

A). It doesn't affect you if you get a batch from Apple. So get the patch.

B) a few vulnerablities in a three year old operating system isn't a bad track record at all, IMHO.

Jeez, virus definitions have to be updated daily for Windows PCs. Moreover, viruses only work via build up of critical mass. Ain't gonna happen to Macs (in one way, this is unfortunate).

This is like comparing the threat of being hit by an asteroid with being hit by taxes. Viruses and worms are a fully integrated part of the Windows experience, here and now. Most Mac users have no clue of what they are missing. It doesn't mean there isn't a potential threat but where the heck is the relative perspective?
