: Changing the video driver in Vista under Bootcamp

Feb 16th, 2007, 05:52 PM

I have a Mac Pro with a bootcamp partition and Vista Business installed.

The graphics are abysmal - only running @ 4 bit and a crappy resolution. I have downloaded the correct Nvidia 7300 GT drivers and Windows only say that the best driver is already loaded. It won't let me make a change .......

I did read that I HAVE to have 2GB of RAM installed to get past this issue period .. although I don't know how accurate this is.

My system is a Mac Pro with 1GB of RAM.

My unit works much better under Parallels with a separate Parallels HDD file but I can't get the Aero interface.

So my question is - is this a bootcamp, vista or insufficient memory issue.

Any help would be appreciated.

Well, Vista isn't supported under bootcamp so that's probably one major factor.
