Why wouldn't you? Windows is vulnerable to attack regardless of what sort of hardware it's installed on, and the Intel Macs are no different.

As for what you need:
AVG Anti-virus (http://free.grisoft.com/doc/2/lng/us/tpl/v5)
Zone Alarm Firewall (http://www.google.ca/pagead/iclk?sa=l&ai=By513IUnGRa2EPYfUiQG5_8m7CKXCsx-1idrwAprCpAvwhA4IABABGAEoAjgAUJq13FBg_biQgegDmAHnc 5gB9oYBmAH8hgGYAbiSBpgBv5IGmAHBkgagAbetpv8DyAEByAL ZolA&adurl=http://www.zonelabs.com/store/content/catalog/products/sku_list_zaav.jsp%3Fdc%3D12bms%26ctry%3DUS%26lang% 3Den%26lid%3Ddbtopnav_pro%26ovchn%3DGGL%26ovcpn%3D US_Branded%26ovcrn%3Dsr2zl2go972go30pi5ai20%2Bzone %2Balarm%26ovtac%3DPPC%26SR%3Dsr2zl2go972go30pi5ai 20)

Well, windows is crap, sadly not even Apple hardware can save it. I like to take a project leader approach to your query. What are your requirements for needing to run windows? Perhaps you don't even need it at all.

ZOMG! I responded to spam... /facepalm. This thread is 3 years old and a bot replied to a post about anti-virus software and as I have not yet finished my coffee, and did think it odd for a first post from a member I took the bait. :(
