Cornell University researchers find a statistically significant link (http://www.johnson.cornell.edu/faculty/profiles/waldman/autpaper.html) between television viewing habits of children under 3 and the likelihood of developing autism. It may not be television, per se, but the multichannel universe ... the link became significant when cable TV penetration increased in the areas under study.

I thought autism is something you were born with. Am I mistaken? Can the causes be environmental? I would really like to know.
