Hello all. I have downloaded a bootleg but all the audio files are in .flac. How do I burn these files so they will work in my home stereo without loosing quality?

Hi, you must use a program such as MacFlac to convert the files from FLAC files to WAV or AIFF files. Once in WAV or AIFF you can listen to the files via iTunes or burn them to audio cd via Toast or even itunes. Enjoy.

I don't want to loose much quality whats better aiff or wav?Since both are uncompressed formats, either will give you identical quality.

Note that if you have Toast 7 it supports FLAC natively.

I now have a great bootleg, but it is really quiet. Its at about a medium low listening level when my speakers are at max. Is there a way to make the audio files louder?

in itunes you can select the get info and under the options tab you can find a volume adjustment
