What would be a fair asking price for a used dual-core PowerMac G5?

This is the stock 2.0 GHz model with 512meg ram, 160gig hd, 128meg nvidia 6600le, 16x dl superdrive, and upgraded with another 2gig of ram to 2.5gig of ram in total. I bought it at the end of October last year.

I bought a used 15" PowerBook G4 on ehMac a couple of months ago for a trip that was cancelled at the last minute, so I now have one too many Macs. Ideally I would like to keep both, but I'd end up using one and never touching the other.

I'd prefer to keep the PowerMac as I have normally have no use for a labtop. But it seems with the introduction of the MacBook Pro that PowerBook prices have taken a bit of a dive, and I'd have better luck selling the PowerMac rather than the PowerBook.

For what I do - programming - the PowerBook works about as well as the PowerMac. Maybe not the same "right now" response you get with the PowerMac, but close enough that I don't really notice.

No guesstimates?

Would $2300 be out of line?

Considerring that they would save $434 off a brand new PowerMac G5, go for it. Even students would save $200.
