I am having trouble connecting with iChat AV video with another person who is also on a router Ihave opened ports 5060,5190,5297,5298, and 5678. I also have opened 16383 thru 16403 as per Artnum 93208. This allows virtually instant connection to a non router person. It has been suggested that these port must also be opened on the Linksys but I do not have a clue. Many chapters in the manual in BLOCKing port or other filters but noting on OPENing ports The router is on a single iMac G5 as a "firewall" the other person has many machines on the router
Any help would be appreciated

I think you may have mis-named your router. Possibly the BEFSR41?

Port Forward.com has a detailed list of "MOST" routers on the market and how to set them up for different ports. You can go through their list and select your make and model router.. as well as the application for the ports you want to open.

Start here:

http://www.portforward.com/english/routers/port_forwarding/routerindex.htm

Hope this helps :)
