: Sleeping PB dies when in transit

I put my PB to sleep and then take it to school (work) with me. Somewhere along the way, the PB shuts itself off. I occasionally swing my backpack to do things like get it on my back and sometimes to put it in my car.

Could it be the SMS is causing this behaviour?
Could it be the battery is moving for a second and thus causing the PB to lose power? (how would I test for that? seems like a stretch ...)

I do have "allow bluetooth to wake this device" checked, so could it be that when it loses connection with my keyboard, it turns itself on, then since the harddrive is working and moving, the SMS shuts things down?

It's a kind of a dangerous problem to be having.

Could be many reasons, including a loose catch on the lid (or improperly closed) that confuses it between sleep and awake, especially if you have a couple of open/close in quick succession. I would only worry about it if it starts to happen regularly.
