I think you could get a little more. Aim for $500 and be flexible with your price.

If the machine checks out to be in good shape, I would say its a pretty good deal.

andrewenterprise

Alright, go check the machine out, and if all checks out to be good, take it, because that guys asking price is a little low, which can be a good thing. :D

I think so. Theyre going for around 425 on eBay, so in the "real world" im sure you could see those around 450 and up.

DVD-ROM and 3 hour battery? That's pretty good for a 500mhz iBook (most only have like 15 min battery left on them or are CD-ROM only) especially considering the price! That's a deal! New keyboard too! Wow...say...where did you say this is? :D Just kidding.

postivevibez

just need to max out the ram and I should be good?

For sure...if its 128mb soldered (in one SO-DIMM) then you can go up to 640mb...it might only be 64mb soldered (built in) and then another 64mb SO-DIMM in the expansion slot, in which case you would have to remove the 64mb in the SO-DIMM and add from there, which would give you a bit less, but still a pretty decent amount of RAM.

Go for it (if there's nothing wrong with the screen)!

Did I mention NOT to call me on my cell phone because I won't answer for a really good reason that can't be explained ?
Besides, MOM told me not to talk with strangers.
Can 10 people vouch for you ?
