Hopefully Microsoft doesn't change the page anytime soon.

Even better, take a look at the new Windows Vista screenshots. I had no idea that Apple had licensed the Finder and Spotlight interface to Microsoft.

Yeah, I've been scanning that link, jicon, and I can see nothing that you're talking about.

I see neither iTunes, nor even a "quick launch area".

I'm looking at this link from jicon's first post. Am I blind?
(And I'm using Safari at the moment. Is that why I am not seeing what you folks are seeing?)

Weird. I went here and could see no screen shots. But it doesn't matter. I had fun reading the MicroSoft Apologists' comments. And then it dawned on me; It's MicroSoft. I don't care what they're doing!

Sweet dreams, everyone.

This is what he's talking about:

iTunes in the quicklaunch area of the Windows Task Bar.

All right I gotta say I've been looking as well and I fail to see what the hoopla is about... i saw itunes in the finder but I fail to see the relevance of that... iTunes has been available for pc's for years... I must be blind. I should mention that Iam one of those guys who gets the joke last all the time as well. so I guess I am missing something hereas well.

It's not much, but you'd think that they'd want their own media player in the quicklaunch, no?

No to mention they don't want iPods used at Redmond and are trying to change the name of podcasts to LonghornVistaSoftCasts

I thought I'd be a bit obscure... Its fun watching people play Where's Waldo.

Word on the street is that Vista Beta 1 is available from MSDN Connect today. From the screenshots I've seen, no iTunes;)... and there is a push to store application specific settings somewhere else than the registry... (About time) So for those of you running Windows 3.11, nothing has changed.
