: Handy tools for iPod/iTunes/iChat

Hello all: I thought I would share a few links to some helpful tools that I have been using lately. All of these are either freeware or donationware.

Sentence caps (http://www.malcolmadams.com/itunes/scripts/scripts09.shtml#tracknamestowordcaps): This is an Applescript for iTunes that converts track names either to sentence caps or all lower case (no need to cap every word in a track title...just my editorial bias).

Fetch art (http://staff.washington.edu/yoel/fetchart/): Another Applescript for iTunes that searches, downloads and copies album art for iTunes tracks.

iChat Status (http://ittpoi.com/stem.php?product=com.ittpoi.ichatstatus&type=frameset): This is a nifty add-on for iChat. It uses the iChat status window to show your buddies what you're currently listening to in iTunes. Especially funny when you're listening to some kind of guilty pleasure like, say, Erasure or Donna Summer!

Enjoy!

Thanks Patrick. Always with the helpful links. I tried the iChat Status and although it's a lovely program, I think I have way too many guilty pleasures... BTW, who is Donna Summer? ;)

Cheers.

Just remember that if you attach album art to a music file, it gets stored in the tags section of the file. If you are using an iPod (or god forbid another brand!), then this will reduce the number of songs you can store on the device...

Just a heads up!
