there are still some sites out there that need IE for it to work, and i heard of a way to trick safari into behaving like IE..

does anyone know how to do this?

In getting it to behave like IE, do you mean that you've tweaked Safari so that it crashes more often, disembowels CSS layouts, and opens security holes that you could drive a beer truck through?

Just asking. :)

Steve-O,

You have to enable Safari's Debug menu, which allows you choose a user agent. I think there's a way to do this from the terminal window, but if you have Onyx, you can do it from there, or you can google a freeware app called Safari Enhancer, which can enable the debug menu, among other things.

Hope this helps.
