Hi folks! I have a new Web page that I think that many Mac users will find helpful.

The page is designed to answer several questions that come up all the time, including whether to upgrade to the latest version of the Mac OS when it first comes out, what does it matter if one doesn't upgrade, etc. and it gives tips on doing such an upgrade, including info on backing up and doing a clean install.

The page is free and totally non-commerical:

Please let me know what you think of the page!

This page, in case you donít know, is one of several pages I have that attempt to help Macintosh users with questions and problems that come up often:

Thanks Randy

It is doubtful I will ever be running the latest and greatest, but I agree entirely about avoiding the earliest versions of system changes.

I also suggest waiting at least 2 or 3 days after release to install any current OS update or security update. Every once in awhile one of these can lead to disaster as well. When that does happen they are withdrawn fairly quickly.

I may have missed it, apologies if I did, as I didn't take time to read all that information, but a scan seemed to indicate that my go to program for fixing issues with my Macs for years, OnyX was not mentioned. It has fixed so many little things for me over the years it is indispensible to me.

Onyx is my go to as well.
