Greetings,

I have my Iphone 6S with Gmail.

Is there a way when I receive an email, it would show up right away on my home page and not only going to my Inbox as it is currently doing ?

Many Thanks

Norm

My notifications is on but I also have a 5S and it shows me the email and content but not on my 6S even with Notifications on.

This is what I mean, when I receive an email with gmail, my 5S Iphone receives it and I get to see its contents but my 6S Iphone does not as the email simply goes to the Inbox and with no notification even if it is set to on.
Is it possible only one Iphone receives the emails ? I use only my 6S now.

Many thanks

Norm

Thanks for the reply,
Both have IOS 11.4.1
And both have Notification on.

As of now they have the same set up, only difference the 5S has no sim card as opposed to the 6S who has the sim card.

Thank You

Norm

Have you tried something like this?
https://www.techlicious.com/how-to/never-miss-an-important-email-on-your-smartphone/

Also, have you shut down completely the misbehaving iPhone, wait 30-40 seconds, then start it up and try again.

Maybe even try sending yourself an email to test.

Thank You Patrick but still not receiving the email.

Did the shutdown.

Is it possible that it is set up to receive only on one unit ?
Am at my wits end.

Thanks

I'm sorry but I don't know and I only occasionally use an old iPd 2 and even then I can't stand using Mail on it.

Maybe some google websearches may have some suggestions or help for you but I don't think it would matter.

I do know that I and my wife can get email on all our Macs and iDevices using the same account(s).

I Patrick and thank you for your suggestion as it worked!

Shutting it for 1 minute did the trick and again very many thanks.
