Hello Folks, long time no see :D

I have been getting this message over the past couple of days out of nowhere! anybody knows how and where to fix this?
I removed all Calendar accounts, and now know that it's coming from the iCloud Calendar.
I tried removing the icloud then adding it again to no success.
The odd this is that the Calendar syncs no problem with iPhone and iPad.

any further ideas will be greatly appreciated!!:)

Sorry, I haven't tried using HS yet but maybe try a web search like:
https://www.google.ca/search?client=safari&rls=en&q=macOS+High+Sierra+Calendar+problem&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&gfe_rd=cr&dcr=0&ei=lYYYWrKyA_Tj8Af1gqD4BA

Not too odd really, almost completely different operating systems and file/settings being used.

In your case, according to the screenshot, the url address is erroneous. Sure don't know where it hides or how to fix things.

Maybe try disabling all Calendar stuff and then enable it a bit later and/or do a shutdown and then a reboot and maybe even run Disk Utility First Aid.

The odd part is even though the macOS cal seems to have an erroneous, events update and syncs between the macOS and iPhone and iPad. So it is actually connected to the icloud!
I tried disabling and restarting to no success. Really hate how apple goes out of its way to hide the URLs or not even Suggest a path or link to fix the issue.

Can you see or find anything useful here, and you may have to click the "Expand all Replies" to see them???

I'm not sure if anything there actually applies to your situation.

EDIT:
How about anything here for a solution?:

pm-r, I love you!! LOL
The google solution worked perfectly with icloud!
seems like it was a case of a corrupt file in the pending events that blocks the sync!!

Thank you very much!!

@MacU

I'm sure glad to hear you found a solution there and got things fixed and working.

I still find a lot of iCloud stuff confusing and I can't always trust or rely on it for the little I might use it.

Well one can only depend on Apple's " it just works" ..

Until it doesn't!

+1.

You know it's pretty bad when even their old phrase doesn't even work properly!!! Sad and often frustrating, or maddening… 🤔😕
