Looks like they are part of 123 ink cartridges, which I once bought and were crap. At less than $20 for a $90 Apple charger, I suspect a bit of a quality issue, but hey, for $20 if it works, you can hardly go wrong. Unless of course it fries a $3000 plus retina MBP, then not so much.

At $20, it's a counterfeit. I wouldn't touch it with a 10 ft pole, or anything else from a company selling fakes.

Read the reviews, including those for the compatible Apple units.

Apple doesn't have a monopoly on the supply of the good proper power adapters or good batteries for that matter.

i rather buy used power supplies from macsales.com
which is OWC.. they offer a warranty
