Good morning, everyone.

I am looking for an affordable 6Gbps PCIe 2.0 host adapter for my 2008 Mac Pro 3,1 so that I can install a new SSD, and take advantage of the fast 6Gbps link speed (the Mac Pro only has a native 3Gbps link speed).

Does anyone know where I can buy such an adapter for a good price that will be compatible with my 2008 Mac Pro 3,1? Perhaps at Canada Computers?

Thank you.

I'm using an apricorn velocity pcie adaptor with a SSD drive in my 09 Mac Pro. It's awesome, cheap, bootable etc..
