Just picked up a 64GB iPhone 6 today. Wondering if it's safe to install 9.1.

My 6S and my old 6 which I gave to my son are both running 9.1 without any issues at all.

No, it's so unstable it will call all your ex-lovers and threaten them with death.

Just kidding, of course its fine. It's a wholly a bug-fix and security release, meaning it's 9.0.x you really should be worried about.

Went ahead and installed it. Everything seems A-ok. Guess it's just the pre-6 models that choke on the new OS.

I am running 9.1 on an iPhone 5, absolutely no issues here

My sister's 5 has been extremely buggy since updating from OS 8.

I'm finding the battery life pretty awful right now. It's draining rather quickly. 9.1 also turned Wifi Assist back on, even though I turned it off for OS 9. I didn't realize this, and in less than a day I had over 300MB of data used up. Over 60MB of that is from phone services I can't even turn off. WTF Apple?!

One thing's for sure is iOS uses a lot more data than Android. Every single time I switch back to iPhone, I notice my data usage going way way up. Considering I only have a plan with 500MB, this is not acceptable. Guess I'll have to upgrade my plan to 1GB. Oh well... still better than Android (mostly).

Kijiji was to blame for the battery life. Everything's good now. Happy to be back with the simplicity of iOS. Celebrated by picking up an Apple Watch tonight (42mm SS link bracelet). Lovin' the watch.
