Looking for either a 60w or 85w magsafe adapter for a 2007 Macbook. Battery is dead in this unit but missing the magsafe for it and runs fine off a wall plug. $89 from Apple is a bit steep for such an old computer.

I don't understand your post and how your MB "runs fine off a wall plug".

Anyway, there are lots of other alternatives for what you possibly need besides the Apple Store and a Google search would be a good place to start.

Heck, you could even pick up a super cheap dubious quality Asian knockoff and then get a genuine Apple unit with their $10.00 exchange plan at an Apple Store.

PS: If your MagSafe Adapter is kaput, they may even just give you a replacement at your local Apple Store.

The previous magsafe was sold as I thought the logic board in this was blown. My mistake as it turned out to be an issue with some bad RAM. Regardless, I still need a MagSafe plug for this computer to use it.

I didn't check pricing, but these guys have pretty much everything Mac--shipping might be a deal breaker however. OWC (http://www.macsales.com)

OWC can be an excellent place to purchase and they have a discount available at the moment:
Search Results for macbook power adapter at MacSales.com (http://eshop.macsales.com/search/macbook+power+adapter)

My experience with their USPS 1st Class shipping for something like a MB power adapter is probably in the $6 -$8.00 range. Canada customs is the holdup for an extra day or so at most usually, and maybe $5.00 customs charge, but I haven't seen that happen for years now.

Shipping costs can be calculated with the shopping basket checkout check.

Thank you all for your replies. Have bought many items from OWC over the years and they are great. Figured I'd check local first, but nothing so far. We'll see what happens in the next couple days.
