output for ipad, iphone and macbook?
Been looking around and can't find anything and wondering if anyone knows of something that can take the output of an iPhone, iPad and macbook (via mini display port) to a TV lets say. I know they made something which goes to red, white and yellow RCA outs for a TV and you can use that with your iPod and iPad etc but wondering if there was an all in one cable thing. I always travel with my iPhone, but sometimes my iPad or macbook.

Apple Composite AV Cable - Apple Store (Canada)

Apple composite av cable for the iPhone and iPad.

The Macbook will be tricky, they don't have an adaptor to go from the mini display port to composite. HDMI and DVI adaptors exist, as well as VGA. You can get a VGA to Composite adaptor if needed, but they are expensive and bulky and usually not worth the hassle.

There aren't any all in one adaptors that'll do all three devices.

If you're looking for an HDMI to mini display port adapter for the MacBook, whatever you do, don't buy one at the Apple Store! You'll pay 10X what you need to. has several adapters that get lots of good reviews (better than the ones the Apple Store sells for >$30) for under $5. Best Buy is even worse - we were looking at them this evening and they were $40 there!

Clearly, some companies think we Mac users have more money than sense.
