Air screen

Sitting here with full sun on the Air screen and it's looking like a reader screen.
Still has to be up to full brightness for contrast purposes but the sun is actually improving the readability.

Not sure what that is about.

Usually am sitting the other direction - but have not noticed that on the 17"
Anyone else.

Yup, noticed it a few weeks ago. I'd been wanting to test it in the Sun and ended up going out as the Sun was just above the trees. That put it directly on the screen and I realized it was very readable. Looking kinda layered like the text was suspended before the back screen.

The MBA screen actually does quite well in bright light even when not directly shining on it. It is SOOO much better than my MBP from early 2008 ever was.

Exactly - like it was floating....too bad the battery is not up to the job - back to the 17" clunk for riding.

Need more than a couple hours at full brightness..
