My mac has stop re-directing to websites
How can I fix this, it has even affected my virtuals.

Unnecessary on the Mac. Chances are the problem you're having - whatever it is - isn't caused by spyware.

Well today around 4pm I rebooted my imac got the flashing folder on boot
It seems the HD is dead. Only 1 year old.
