May 2, 2011 - ehMac.ca Weekly Mac Poll: Do you buy your Macs online or in-store?

Are you someone who (mostly) goes into a brick and mortar store to buy your Macs, or would you now order your Mac online?

What are your reasons?
Any experiences to share good or bad with your last purchase?

Discuss....

In-store. I live around over 6+ Apple Stores and Resellers. I like to have it same-day.

Depends where I can get the best price, but usually online.

I buy from whomever. It depends on who has the best price and/or they can get it to me quickly. The last two purchases I've been refurbs from Apple. I would say I do tend to buy more from online stores, but not exclusively.

It depends on what machine it's going to be. I've never purchased a MacPro online, but almost always purchase portables online. It also depends on the turn around time required ... sometimes you need a machine right away so online doesn't cut it for those situations. I've bought quite a few refurb machines from Apple online though as well. So my answer has to be "it depends".

B&M, I'm too impatient, I like to walk in and walk out with my new purchase. In fact I will go from store to store until I find what I'm looking for.
