EPP Purchases In-Store

Does anyone know if we can make EPP purchases in store at Apple stores? I know that they can do it for EDU purchases, but don't know about EPP.

Last I heard, no, they had to be done through a particular version of the Apple website.

I've heard you can. I've not done it, but I believe some of my co-workers have. You may need to show proof of employment or membership to the appropriate EPP organization.

Yes you can. Don't know if it is store dependant, but three weeks ago bought an iMac in the Ottawa Apple store with EPP. Just needed to show my employee badge.

I've done it in Apple stores too. Used a Business card and Photo ID. They have to look in the same Blue Book that they look in for EDU discounts. Just make sure you know the price it should be before you go in. Sometimes they don't always apply the discount correctly...

I make EPP purchases online and in store; they look up the number in a binder at the cash. I wrote mine down on my union card so it saves time.

All that for no use: they don't have non-stock configs of MacBook Air in stock, so if I'm gonna get a 4Gb version, I need to order online anyway. Phooey! Thanks for the response, everyone.

They should have the "ultimate" for both 11" and 13" in stock. But yeah, if you want, say the 13" 128GB SSD but with 4GB of RAM, you gotta order online.

You could also wait for it to show up in the Refurb store. That particular config is $1229 refurb'd.
