New Trackpad Update: Inertial for Everyone!

Apple's released the "Magic Trackpad and Multi-Touch Trackpad Update 1.0" today - and it brings along with it some goodies for all Unibody MacBook/Pro owners: Inertial Scrolling and Three Finger Window Drag!

More info here:

About Magic Trackpad and Multi-Touch Trackpad Update 1.0

I've installed in on my 15" UMBP and it's amazing! Love the Inertial Scrolling (newer 2010 MB/MBPs already have this) but the three-finger window drag is amazingly useful IMHO.

Love that you get these great updates to Apple tech, even years after purchase!

The early-08 MacBook Pros and all MacBook Airs get some lovin too - though just the inertial scrolling and not the three-finger window drag.

Installed this update on my late 2008 aluminium unibody macbook couple hours ago and it works beautifully! I love the inertial scrolling!! After owning this macbook for almost 2 years, apple still manages to come out with something new to give my macbook a fresh feeling!

Thanks Apple!

Steve jobs needs to step down as CEO he is a lying piece of ****. Obviously he was full of crap when he said it was a hardware issue preventing these computers from having inertial scrolling when it was released in the new macbook pro and his just proves he was full of ****

Everybody's a lying piece of ***. "He who is without sin..." "All's fair in love and war"

That aside, I'm a little ticked that I have to choose between 3-finger "swipe to navigate" and "dragging". Any fixes or am I missing something. i want both.

I was really happy with this update, I bought my girlfriend a Macbook last month and she had the inertial scrolling and was wondering why my 2009 Macbook Pro didn't! Now it's happy days

Install the new Safari update as well. Seems to make the inertia scrolling a little smoother.
