good idea CubaMark.

If anyone knows of a USB hub that nicely complements the iMac 27" design, please post a link.

I'm embarrassed that I don't already own that TARDIS hub, but in my defense it won't fit in the designated space for hubs in my little workstation.

Plus, I did at one time own a Godzilla-shaped Firewire hub. His back lit up with connections. Very cool.

I know it's kind of heresy, but Microsoft makes a mean mouse... wow, ok, that alliteration just kind of happened. Sorry.

But seriously, I love this thing. I have one in red, and the design is sturdy, and the mouse itself is great on my iMac or MacBook.

One complaint is that it's using the comparatively old and lame 2.4ghz radio option instead of bluetooth, but overall a great mouse.

It will surprise some people here to see this, but I totally agree with you. On the topic of mice (ALONE), mentioning Microsoft doesn't strike me as heresy at all.

I find it absolutely amazing that they can make very nice hardware (for Mac, even!) if they want to -- but apparently, most of the time they don't want to!

I use 4 port hub that can also be connected to electrical power - if the attached device needs more power. And, I like that way its USB ports "light up" when used as well. Pretty cool...

Hope this helps you as well..

I have also used a Microsoft USB headphones/mic combo and a Microsoft Webcam, and surprisingly they were both pretty well made as well and worked with mac out of the box (no drivers required). I also use Microsoft keyboards on my workstations (the Natural Ergo 4000 is my current fav: Natural Ergonomic Keyboard 4000 )

They do make some ok hardware beyond mice. Maybe that's the one devision of M$ that does ok.
