I recently purchased a 21.5 inch iMac and I would like to add 4GB of RAM (2 X 2GB). Could someone give me a link to a website showing the exact kind of RAM I would need to buy? I'm not really tech savy but I do know how to upgrade the RAM myself since I did it on my old iMac. I just don't know what kind of RAM I need for the new iMacs.
Thanks! |

You need DDR3-1066 RAM - SODIMMs like a MacBook does, although the new iMac has 4 RAM sockets so you can install more RAM than previously.
Here is Kingston's configuration page
Kingston Technology Company - Kingston Memory Search - Search Results for:
I recommend purchasing from a reputable dealer who guarantees compatibility with your model Mac, lifetime memory warranty, and offers a no charge return for refund/replacement on DOAs.
