I'm curious to see if any of you think whether there are certain features that are available to Windows but not to Osx, or just simply done better in Windows. And if there is, why?

from what i understand CAD & related (product design etc...) software is better on windows systems. I think there may also be a bit more 3D programs offered.

..and ofcourse games.

There's a pretty sweet version of solitaire on Windows. But you can, of course, get it for iPhone and iPod Touch.

I personally really like the Imaging Wizard built-in to XP,

Another strength is the absurd selection of powerful video oriented freeware and shareware.

• Built-in uninstaller.

Sure, not as much of an issue on a Mac, but still a glaring oversight on Apple's part.

•Multiple video card support.

Macs can use multiple video cards to drive multiple monitors, but Windows can use multiple video cards to drive the same graphics, greatly accelerating a capabilities of the machine.

•Full screen mode for most apps.

This is huge when working on smaller screens (like laptops). In Firefox, you can hit F11, and the web page will fill the screen with no title bars/tabs/tools/etc. OS X Firefox doesn't do this. The only Mac apps I know of that can do this are video players.

menus are attached to the application window not the primary screen. When using multiple displays this is a big plus as you don't have to go back to the primary screen to use a menu item associated with a window on another display. This sucks big time in the Mac OS.

I like that Windows merges folders rather than replacing them.
