I lost my bluetooth today. No mouse, no keyboard. Checked batteries, went through preferences, etc. My macbook didn't even show that I had bluetooth anymore. I called support, they walked me through reset and then made me do Twister on the keyboard and made me wait for three chimes, then asked if I had bluetooth. Nada. Support told me to take my MB in for servicing.
I googled "bluetooth unavailable macbook" and I got quite a few pages. It seems, from what I've read, to be a problem for some MB owners. Anyone else run into the wonky bluetooth unavailable thing?
After trying a number of things after poring over the google pages, I ended up unplugging my MB, taking the battery out, let it sit for an hour or two. I hooked it all back up again, and bluetooth came back. No guarantee it'll keep though.
It just seems way too Windows/PC for me. That's why I switched to the Mac side a few years ago.
Maybe because it's the 13th.
