Exclamation New 24" iMac screen......Wow!

As compared to my iMac late 2006 20" the screen is uber bright and clear!

very nice, the colours are rich and it is almost too bright really.

i have the brightness turned way down, this should help with the sun hitting the glossy screen, just crank it up.

so far i am very happy with the way it look.

Not too sure about the new keyboard though, it feels odd to e as compared to the old white dirt collector that shipped with the previous gen...

Be happy you got a 24" rather than a 20" Aluminum model. The 20" white iMacs uses S-IPS screens (top of the line) while the new 20" use TN panels. The Aluminum 24" models use PVA panels, which are almost as good as the S-IPS.

Win for the 24"ers. Lose for the 20"ers. :S

The glossy screen and increased brightness specs make those things happen. The old 20" has better viewing angles, etc... but the new 24" glossy screens are still beautiful! (just the 20" Aluminum are crummy )
